Record crowds turned out to enjoy perfect weather for this year's annual Groton Fall Festival held at Poquonnock Plains Park on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Groton Holiday Kickoff Celebration was presented and facilitated by Town of Groton Parks and Recreation, Groton Senior Center, Groton Public Library, Groton Economic & Community Development, and Groton Utilities in coordination with the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. It was held at the Groton Senior Center on December 7, 2019.
Thousands gather in Mystic to watch Santa arrive on a 60’ tug boat, the John Paul, and to listen to the wishes of children. The Downtown Mystic Holiday Stroll features caroling and Christmas shopping. Holiday events are beloved traditions in Mystic.
