General Information:
The Friday Night summer concert series takes place at Washington Park, Meridian Street in Groton. All concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and are co-sponsored and co-produced by Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department.
The concerts are designed to be especially appealing to families for a fun, inexpensive night out. Spectators are encouraged to bring their families and enjoy the food trucks and concession stand.
Food trucks will be on site beginning at 5:30 p.m.
 

Mass-Conn Fusion
If you are looking for a night of Motown, R&B, Funk and pop music ranging from the 60s to now this is the band for you. Mass-Conn Fusion brings the skills and the fun with great musicians, a horn section and an explosive rhythm section that will keep you dancing all night long. Mass-Conn Fusion brings the fun every time out. Come on down to the park and prepare to have a great time.

Red Light
Red Light was voted “Best Band 2023” in the most recent New London Day and Norwich Bulletin Readers’ Choice Awards. Red Light is a five-piece modern and classic dance party rock band that bring energy and musicianship to every show they play. Red Light plays the best party music spanning five decades in a fun, dynamic, high-energy show.

The Cartells
The Cartells are back again and ready to bring the party with them. Masters of jazz, swing, rock, Motown and R&B – The Cartells know how to play practically anything and leave the audience smiling. Come on down and enjoy a terrific band.

Floydian Trip
Hailing from Newington, Connecticut, Floydian Trip is a Pink Floyd cover band that makes you want to bust out those dusty records one more time. Floydian Trip concentrates on the arena rock era of Floyd, ranging from Dark Side of the Moon to The Wall. The band’s musicianship and attention to detail will transport you back to a bygone era where pigs flew and bands rocked.

Wicked Peach
Wicked Peach is this area’s ultimate rock cover band and is a staple on the southeastern New England music scene. Wicked Peach rocks the hard rock classics from the 90s better than anyone, while offering up a satisfying sampling from the 70s, 80s and 2000s to keep the crowds coming back for more. If you haven’t seen Wicked Peach before you’ve GOTTA come down to the park and see one of the best bands in the state.

Stone County
Stone County is one of Eastern Connecticut’s top country cover bands, mixing in southern and classic rock to keep everyone dancing the night away. While playing the best of today’s modern country is their bread and butter, these four country boys like to get the crowds moving with some old-time classics and straight up rock songs. Bringing a little something for everyone, Stone County is sure to rock the park country-style!  

Wild Nights
Wild Nights is one of Southeastern Connecticut’s best party rock bands. The band plays music spanning across multiple decades - something to make everyone dance and have a blast! With songs by artists ranging from Dua Lipa, Tom Petty, The Weeknd and Kenny Loggins all the way to Guns and Roses and Eminem, there is something for everyone.
