As Electric Boat marks the biggest Groton shipyard expansion in decades, company President Jeffrey Geiger announces his retirement

As Electric Boat celebrated its biggest expansion at its Groton shipyard in more than 45 years, the company announced a major change in leadership with the retirement of company President Jeffrey Geiger.
General Dynamics announced that Geiger will retire Sept. 30 after 35 years with the defense contractor. He will be succeeded by Kevin Graney, president of General Dynamics NASSCO, which designs and builds auxiliary and support ships for the Navy, oil tankers and dry cargo carriers.
