Groton company secures $12.5M U.S. Navy contract

A local acoustics and hydrodynamics technology company, Applied Physical Sciences, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, was recently awarded a $12.5 million contract from the U.S. Navy.
“This contract award for Applied Physical Sciences is another example of eastern Connecticut’s critical role in (maintaining) the U.S. Navy’s undersea superiority for decades to come,” U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney, D-2nd District, said in a Friday news release.
