Mystic Irish Parade a favorite for frequent attendees and newcomers

Jessica Saciloski has traveled to St. Patrick's Day parades throughout the country, from Boston to Chicago, over the years. However, the Willimantic resident was about to see one for the first time Sunday afternoon as she waited for the Mystic Irish Parade to take off.
"I don't know how I've missed the one in my backyard all these years," she said as she joined family friend Alexis Conley, of Norwich, and her children, Raelyn Ortiz, 3, and Kaden Ortiz, 1, with beach chairs and snacks on Greenmanville Avenue.
