The Friends of Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park in Groton will be participating in Connecticut Open House Day, now celebrating its 20th year. This special day encourages Connecticut residents to explore the rich experiences available throughout the state. Enjoy free public tours of the Fort at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Additionally, the Museum and Monument will be open for exploration. Discover historic artifacts and climb the 166 steps to the top of the Monument for breathtaking views.
Don't forget to visit the Friends Gift Shop under the tent, where you'll find a variety of souvenirs
including mugs, T-shirts, books, and photos.
