Groton Public Works director to retire after 37 years with the town

Greg A. Hanover first joined the town's Public Works Department early in his career to get more of a diverse engineering background in everything from roads to buildings.
Hanover said he ended up really liking the public works department and working for the town's residents. He has now enjoyed a more than 37-year career in the department, including the last six years as public works director.
Hanover will retire on Jan. 3.
