Lux Bond & Green jewelry store approved for downtown Mystic

Lux Bond & Green has received approval to open a new jewelry store at the corner of West Main and Water streets in the downtown.

On Tuesday, the Groton Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a site plan and coastal site plan for the redevelopment of 49-53 West Main Street, the former location of Bank Square Books which has since relocated to 80 Stonington Road on the Stonington side of the village.

Lux Bond & Green President & CEO John Green said in a statement Wednesday that the family-owned business is slated to open the Mystic location by late next year.
