The pace of submarine construction in southeast Connecticut and Rhode Island is expected to extend decades into the future, requiring General Dynamics Electric Boat to rely on technical schools, high schools, even elementary schools to recruit workers.
At the submarine manufacturer’s annual legislative breakfast in Groton Monday, Kevin Graney, president of Electric Boat, outlined the company’s plans for the future.
