Connecticut’s beer industry continues to be a major boon to the state’s economy, according to a new study.
The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) and the Beer Institute said it conducted a joint study that shows Connecticut’s beer industry contributes $3.1 billion annually to the state’s economy.
That represents a major increase compared to the $745.7 million economic impact the industry generated in 2017, according to estimates provided by the Brewers Association, which represents two-thirds of breweries in Connecticut.
