Mystic musicians perform “America the Beautiful” from front porches

Jacqui Keller took the screen out of her front door to play from inside as she warms up before the Music Unites Mystic event on Sunday, March 29, 2020. June Ingram, a local music teacher, organized students and friends to play “America the Beautiful" from their front porches or driveways at noon on Sunday. “Playing alone is a very hard thing to do," said Keller, who helped organize the event, “music brings harmony we wanted to bring a togetherness even if we´re physically separated."
