Connecticut launches resource to help people return to work

Gov. Ned Lamont on Thursday announced he is launching a new resource called the CT Back to Work Initiative to help people get training to find jobs, as sectors of the economy reopen following closures put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Garrett Moran, chairman of the Governor's Workforce Council, explained in Lamont's briefing Thursday that there are two programs that are free to people who have filed for unemployment: 180 Skills and Skillsoft.
